We had new wooden period skirting board fitted through the whole ground floor and a small section on our landing following a new extension. We had to wait a little for his availability but really happy we did. He fitted the boards over 2 days and took plenty of care and attention while working over a new wooden floor and having to work with the limitations of Victorian walls! Really happy with the fitting. Turned up when he said, fixed a few quick things for us at no charge and was very easy to talk to. Really nice guy and already booking him in to do some other bits for us.

I also found Elliot from recommendations on the forum and am really pleased with the work he’s done for me. I hired him to lay a concrete base for a new garden shed and he was extremely reliable, polite, turned up on time and did an excellent job, working round my availability to be at home, weather etc etc. I’d recommend him very highly and would definitely contact again for future work.

Elliott fitted understairs storage in our hallway. He came up with a great solution of pull out drawers and we are very happy with the result. He was great to work with and kept to time and quote. We would highly recommend Elliott.

We’d also like to recommend Elliot from Langley Carpentry. Elliot transformed the bannisters on our stairs, putting in Edwardian-style spindles (the previous bannister had massive gaps in which weren’t safe for our young children). We found Elliot to be polite, punctual, transparent on pricing and very easy to have in our home while we juggled our day jobs and childcare. We’re really pleased with the finished result.

We’ve had Elliot from Langley Carpentry at our house for two weeks and in that time he has completed work in the living room, master bedroom and loft. I had Elliot round to change a door (we wanted it to open the other way) and to fit a door threshold. Elliot recently put in some alcove shelves and cupboards, he’s a nice guy and very easy to work with from the outset, took his time to go through the design and totally flexible as I changed things throughout the build. Really pleased with the end result and at a fair and competitive price.

We’d also like to add our highest recommendation for Elliot. He just completed three sets of bookcases for us. From start to finish, Elliot was not only a delight to work with but the quality of his finished product is outstanding. Elliot visited us three times before installing the bookcases, working with us to achieve exactly what we wanted. He has helped us with our custom fitted Boiler Cupboard with very short notice, and saved us from many more sleepless night as the Boiler was in our Master Bedroom. I’d like to second all the above, we had Elliot come take a look at our house and out of all the tradesmen that quoted for us he was very efficient in communicating, polite, and was fairly priced. A huge recommendation comes from me. I found Elliot on here from recommendations which others had posted. We exchanged messages, he came round and then advised me on a selection of places where to source my flooring from. All had sales on so I got to save some money.

Elliot recently fitted an engineered oak floor for us throughout the ground floor of our Victorian terrace which spanned the existing section and a newly built kitchen extension too. He was very happy to advise re choosing types of flooring and associated materials such as underlay / glue etc which was great as there’s such a huge choice of materials, suppliers and prices out there. He arrived on time and worked long hours to get the job done on time for us. And he was by far the tidiest, most efficient and helpful tradesman we’ve had on site during our refurb. We’re really happy with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Elliot recently replaced all 11 doors in my house, and built some new under-stair cupboards. He said he’d be there at 8am on the Monday, and was on the doorstep at 7.59. After that he worked his way through the house and despite the fact that there isn’t a straight line or right angle in the whole place finished on schedule and to a very high level of quality. Doors that close! Ooooooh! Skilled, thoughtful and tidy it was a pleasure to just give him a set of keys and let him get on with it.

Elliot just built a set of fitted wardrobes for us in QRP and has done a fantastic job, delivered exactly to his specifications, in double quick time. Elliot has done a fantastic job of helping us fix a variety of issues with our new flat.
