Also wanted to add our recommendation for Elliot. He’s just built and painted alcove shelves and cupboards in my lounge; they look great. Elliot was a pleasure to deal with: does what he says he will, turns up on time, and all round easy to talk to.

Elliot helped us replace an external door. He was extremely helpful in offering advice and suggestions and very prompt, efficient and professional in his communications. Elliot recently fitted an engineered oak floor for us throughout the ground floor of our Victorian terrace which spanned the existing section and a newly built kitchen extension too. He was very happy to advise re choosing types of flooring and associated materials such as underlay / glue etc which was great as there’s such a huge choice of materials, suppliers and prices out there. He arrived on time and worked long hours to get the job done on time for us. And he was by far the tidiest, most efficient and helpful tradesman we’ve had on site during our refurb. We’re really happy with the finished result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We had new wooden period skirting board fitted through the whole ground floor and a small section on our landing following a new extension. We had to wait a little for his availability but really happy we did. He fitted the boards over 2 days and took plenty of care and attention while working over a new wooden floor and having to work with the limitations of Victorian walls! Really happy with the fitting. Turned up when he said, fixed a few quick things for us at no charge and was very easy to talk to. Really nice guy and already booking him in to do some other bits for us.

I totally recommend Elliot from Langley Carpentry. He has just installed a hanging guitar holder, and a large mirror, on the wall of our music room. We’re delighted with the results. Elliot recently replaced all 11 doors in my house, and built some new under-stair cupboards. He said he’d be there at 8am on the Monday, and was on the doorstep at 7.59. After that he worked his way through the house and despite the fact that there isn’t a straight line or right angle in the whole place finished on schedule and to a very high level of quality. Doors that close! Ooooooh! Skilled, thoughtful and tidy it was a pleasure to just give him a set of keys and let him get on with it.

Elliot just built a set of fitted wardrobes for us in QRP and has done a fantastic job, delivered exactly to his specifications, in double quick time. He was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from the site visit when he made a number of recommendations right through to completion. Elliot is great. He is really lovely, and very keen to ensure you are 100% happy with any work he is doing for you. He’s really reliable, punctual and also v v tidy. Just wanted to add another recommendation for Elliot of Langley Carpentry – cannot recommend highly enough! We are thrilled with our new alcove fittings which he completed last week – incredibly high quality finish, friendly and professional service throughout, always to time, and super clean as he built the shelves at cupboards at his workshop separately and carried out any extra sanding/cutting outside (nothing like the dust cloud I had imagined, there was essentially no mess!?). End result is exactly what we were looking for, due to the time and attention from Elliot in chatting through options and providing designs and suggestions – thank you for an amazing service!!

I’d like to second all the above, we had Elliot come take a look at our house and out of all the tradesmen that quoted for us he was very efficient in communicating, polite, and was fairly priced. Elliot has recently installed alcove cupboards and a large fitted wardrobe in our master bedroom. We’re absolutely delighted with the finished product. Elliot was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and was also great with the kids who must have asked him a thousand questions. We would highly recommend him and his work.

A huge recommendation comes from me. I found Elliot on here from recommendations which others had posted. We exchanged messages, he came round and then advised me on a selection of places where to source my flooring from. All had sales on so I got to save some money.

Another great find in this forum! Elliot has spent quite a few months working at our house, doing everything from book shelves, to a cabinet, to loads of fitted wardrobes and cupboards and even fitting a front door. We had Elliot do some work for us – He changed our rotten UPVC front door for a fantastic Victorian wooden one and did such a great job we are now getting him to do our kitchen – a keeper! Very punctual, trustworthy and was competitively priced – would recommend.

Same here. I found Elliot through this forum. He has laid engineered wooden flooring, fitted and lacquered skirting boards and replaced locks, handles and hinges on all doors in my flat. We’d also like to recommend Elliot from Langley Carpentry. Elliot transformed the bannisters on our stairs, putting in Edwardian-style spindles (the previous bannister had massive gaps in which weren’t safe for our young children). Elliot recently put in some alcove shelves and cupboards, he’s a nice guy and very easy to work with from the outset, took his time to go through the design and totally flexible as I changed things throughout the build. I can highly recommend Elliot for carpentry work. I needed some very large, bespoke wardrobes made for my bedroom and a large cupboard built in my kitchen.
